EGM Unit 8
Goals for this Unit:​
- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position
- Reinforce playing combinations of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th String Notes on the guitar as well as quarter, half, dotted half, and whole note rhythms. Students will also continue to build on chord playing and reading with C, G7, and G 1-finger chords. Students will be able to combine these notes with new concepts introduced in this unit.
- Introduction of the Eighth Note Rhythm. Students will be able to count, read, play, and compose with eighth notes by the end of this unit on the Guitar.
