EGM Unit 4
Goals for this Unit:​
- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position
- Reinforce playing combinations of the 1st and 2nd String Notes on the guitar (E, F, G, B, C, and D) as well as quarter, half, and whole notes. Students will be able to combine these notes with new concepts introduced in this unit.
- Introduction of the 3rd String Notes G and A on the guitar. Students will be able to read, play, and compose with these by the end of the unit.
- Introduction of the rhythm concepts of pick up notes and ties. Students will be able to read, play, and compose with these by the end of the unit in conjunction with quarter, half, and whole note rhythms previously introduced.
