EGM Unit 17

Goals for this Unit:​

- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position

- Reinforce playing combinations of the notes on all 6 Strings on the guitar in first position (1st Fret) as  well as eighth, quarter, dotted quarter, half, dotted half, and whole note rhythms. Students will also be able to interpret and apply sharp and natural signs to reading skills. Students will be able to combine these things with new concepts introduced in this unit.

- Introduction of the Key Signature of C Major, C Major Scale, and Primary 3 Chords (C, F, and G7) of the Key of C. Students will be able to read, play, and compose utilizing the C Major Scale and Primary Chords of C by the end of this unit.
