EGM Unit 13
Goals for this Unit:​
- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position
- Reinforce the rhythm counting of eighth, quarter, half, dotted half, and whole notes. Students will also continue to build on chord playing and reading with C, G7, and G 1-finger chords by expanding these to 8 full fingered chords. Students will continue to build reading, playing, and composing skills with Em, A7, Am, E, G, D7, C, and G7 chords.
- Introduction of alternate varations for the 8 chord fingerings shown in the previous lesson. Students will be able to read, play, and compose with these chords in progression along with other mastered rhythm counting concepts on the Guitar. Student will continue to integrate multiple variations of these chord patterns in this unit to work towards mastery.
