EGM Unit 12
Goals for this Unit:​
- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position
- Reinforce the rhythm counting of eighth, quarter, half, dotted half, and whole notes. Students will also continue to build on chord playing and reading with C, G7, and G 1-finger chords by expanding these to 8 full fingered chords.
- Introduction of full chord fingerings. Students will be able to read, play, and compose with these chords in progression along with other mastered rhythm counting concepts on the Guitar. Student will begin to work towards mastery of the primary fingerings for Em, A7, Am, E, G, D7, C, and G7.
