EGM Unit 11
Goals for this Unit:​
- Continue to reinforce proper guitar hold and hand position
- Reinforce playing combinations of the notes on all 6 Strings on the guitar in first position (1st Fret) as well as eighth, quarter, half, dotted half, and whole note rhythms. Students will also continue to build on chord playing and reading with C, G7, and G 1-finger chords. Students will be able to combine these notes with new concepts introduced in this unit.
- Introduction of the concept and rules of sharp notes and their cancellation with natural signs. Students will be able to read, play, and compose with these notes along with other mastered notes on the Guitar.
